This text is an excerpt and a translation and as such a partial representation of the most important parts of the terms and conditions as formulated in French. The full French language conditions apply to your reservation. Note: if specific conditions of a reservation should contradict these general terms and conditions, the specific conditions will prevail.
Minimum stay durations and allowed arrival and departure weekdays change according to the season. The online reservation system will automatically indicate the appropriate possibilities.
Your beds are already made when you arrive. For stays of two weeks or longer, we offer – if you so desire – a free change of bed linen on Saturdays. In all other cases, a set of linen is charged at 6€ per person.
If you would like to invite friends or family, please inform us first. To guarantee a pleasant stay for everyone here, your visitors can only come after our approval. We charge €7 per person per day. Your visitors cannot stay for the night.
We put some washing up utensils at your disposal and two dish towels. You will have to bring your own towels for the shower, swimming pool and beach. You can also rent towels with us (to be used only for personal care inside the holiday home).
All prices include electricity, heating, water, and gas for cooking.
All-terrain / mountain bikes can be rented out.
We do not allow pets on the site, including those belonging to your visitors. At our discretion we can make an exception for disability assistance dogs; please contact us in this case before booking. Smoking in the cottages and around the pool is not permitted. Parties and celebrations not allowed.
Specific conditions with regard to your stay
The rental is valid from the reserved arrival day 16h until the reserved departure day 10h. If the tenant departs late, an additional fee of € 50 can be charged.
Rental is for up to five (5) persons per gîte, children included. Additional charges may apply for stays of more than four (4) persons.
Parties, gatherings, etc. not allowed.
The full rental must be paid before arrival. There is a deposit of € 150. In addition, cleaning costs of € 60 and an administration fee of € 10 apply. For extra persons over a number of 4, € 20 per adult and € 10 per child per night, or € 60 per week will be charged. Tourist tax is € 1.00 per adult (18 years and over) per night for the 2024 season.
If there are different cancellation terms for an offer than normal, these different cancellation terms are stated in the offer and in the communication between tenant and landlord.
You must have a valid insurance. You should behave as a “good house father”. Everything is in good working condition. You must report within 24h after arrival if you find that something is not alright. You must leave the accommodation behind in a clean state. Otherwise, an amount may be deducted from the deposit. Examples include:
- Dirty kitchen: € 25
- BBQ or grill dirty: € 15
- No broom used for cleaning the floor: € 10
- Garbage bins not emptied: € 10
- Dishes not done and/or dirty/wet in cupboard: € 25
- Toilet not cleaned: € 20
- Unremovable spots in bed linen / towels by improper use (felt tip pens, grass, etc.): price of bed linen / towel
The reservation has been finalised with the explicit acceptance of the terms and conditions when reserved online and a reservation confirmation sent by the system. If the reservation is made by another means (email, phone), the reservation will be deemed to have been finalised once the landlord has sent a confirmation email.
The deposit is 25% and must be completed within eight days after the reservation has been made. If the reservation is made less than 42 days before arrival, the total amount is due.
Cancellation charges are the deposit amount on cancellation up to 42 days prior to arrival. In case of cancellation within 42 days of arrival or in case of a no-show the full amount is due. The reservation was made by a distance sale. The law dictates that the right of withdrawal does not apply to overnight stays or vacation stays purchased from a distance. We advise having an appropriate cancellation insurance.
Your credit card details serve to guarantee the reservation. Depending on the payment deadlines of the stay and after prior notification by the lessor to the lessee, the lessor can exercise his right to debit the amount due at maturity from the credit card. In the event of a no-show (reservation not cancelled – customer not present) of a reservation guaranteed by credit card, the establishment will debit the customer the amount indicated in its general conditions and specific conditions.
In case of force majeure – unforeseen events usually referred to as “Force Majeure” recognized in French jurisprudence – neither the client nor the landlord is bound by this agreement and each of them is responsible for the consequences and financial settlement. This contract is subject to French law. The terms and conditions, possible conditions specific to the stay’s offer and the reservation request plus reservation confirmation form the entire contract between the two parties.
